If you want an ice cream treat, well that's a whole different story. The chances of you getting anything remotely close to what you order is slim to none. If you specifically ask them (and they acknowledge no less) to hold the whip cream and cherry off your shakes you can rest assured they will arrive with whip cream AND a cherry. If you politely ask them to fix the order because you ordered a vanilla shake and a chocolate shake WITHOUT whip cream and cherries they will bring you back TWO CHOCOLATE shakes without the whip cream and cherries.
If you order anything but ice cream products you will be okay. They do a fairly good job at the cooked foods, as far as fast food goes.
Love the 50's vibe and the food is good. Love the vast selection of drinks.
I have yet to get a Sonic Blast that was made correctly. Cookies & Cream is my flavor of choice and just once I would like to see the cookies & cream reach the mid point of the cup. If they are too lazy or inept to make it properly they could at least charge me for half (much less actually) of a Blast and half for a cup of ice cream because in actuality, that is exactly what it is.
Their hamburgers are "always"so fresh. The buns are never flat and soggy . I will drive from Alexandra where I live to kingsville where the are. They're the best!!!
The only reason I gave the extra star is because I try to be fair and like I stated before, I haven't experienced any issues with the cooked menu yet. It is just the frozen treats that they are CLUELESS at making.
I am a former Sonic employee, so I can speak from experience. The food is cooked exactly as it should be as well as it's served in a timely manner. Good Sonic food.
They have the fastest service. I always enjoy the food. The music is always great to listen to.
